Mandy Hampton, Implementation Manager

What convinced Mandy Xealth is “The Place to Be”?

The people here at Xealth. Implementation mangers have a unique perspective, given we get to work daily with many of the teams here at Xealth. Every person plays such an important role in bringing our use cases to life for a Health System, and we have one of the best villages. Every person I interviewed with, believed in the mission and loved what they were doing, so it made it easy for me. Once I got here and got settled, that feeling remained and I have been lucky enough to have a seat on this fun ride!

What has your experience been with our company culture?

Xealth is very much a family. Everyone genuinely cares about the work we do and the patients that we serve, and thats clear in our everyday work. The collaboration that occurs between teams makes my job both easy and rewarding.

What have been your biggest accomplishments on our team?

When I joined the team 16 months ago, I was ready for a new challenge. I had amazing mentors and a team that quickly brought me up to speed. During that time, I spent quite a bit of it onboarding new health systems and looking for ways we could streamline that process not only for our customers, but for the many Xealth teams that help with this process. Sam has been instrumental in helping refine this process so that we can spend less time on documentation and more time solving the challenges that slow us down with new health systems to make us quicker and more efficient. I enjoy the challenge of onboarding and the many groups I get to work with to bring our new customers up on our platform.

Who are some of your biggest inspirations within the company?

Gloria, Colin and Joel! Without these three, I would be lost. I had the pleasure of interviewing with Gloria and I can honestly say, she was part of my decision to come to Xealth. Her clinical and technical expertise, her willingness to ‘jump in head first’ into any problem, whether we have found a bug during UAT or need help troubleshooting new tools, and her compassion deems her an invaluable member of our team. I work closely with Colin onboarding new health systems and outside of being a wealth of knowledge, he is excellent with our customers and he truly makes my job at Xealth easy. Joel always accepts my meetings with a smile and consistently takes extra time to help me understand our partner integrations so that we can serve our customers in the best possible way. These three truly embody what it means to be a team at Xealth and having crossed paths with them has made me a better implementation manager.

How have you grown professionally while on our team?

Coming to Xealth, my goal was to dig deeper into the technical challenges of healthcare. I had spent the previous 12 years in clinical workflow consulting, and improving provider workflows, but I really wanted to understand some of the technical challenges on the backend of the workflows with vendor partners. My role at Xealth affords me the unique ability to still design and consult on workflows, while gaining the knowledge it takes to complete the technical builds and what it entails from the health systems. Having become the onboarding lead, I have gained invaluable knowledge on what it truly takes to implementation software from the ground up, and continue to learn daily from our customers and colleagues on how we can leverage new technology to improve operational efficiency.
